A form of our native 'Wood Anemone' with misty purple flowers in Spring and a bold central boss of yellow stamens which provide a good early source of pollen for bees and other beneficial insects..
It is best grown in a moist but not too damp soil in partial shade. It's spreading habit makes it ideal for planting in borders or naturalising in a woodland garden.
