This form of 'cranesbill' which grows wild in Dalmatia on the West coast of Croatia has pure pink flowers in early Summer.It forms a low growing mound of glossy green leaves which have a tangy fragrance when crushed and reaches a height of about 12cm with the flowers held aloft on slightly taller stems above. Easily grown in a sunny or lightly shaded position it holds an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society for being a good garden worthy plant. As with most Geraniums, it is well-loved by bees, butterflies and other insects.
