A true gem, this Saxifrage is one of the first plants to bloom in the early Spring. Its pretty shell pink flowers with darker centres are held on short stems above mounds of hard grey-green leaves, ht 5cm.
One of the best ways to grow these 'kabschia' saxifrages is in groups in a container where they won't be overshadowed by larger plants and where their delicate beauty can be more easily admired. In the garden, they are best grown in a sunny or lightly shaded , not-too-dry position, in the open where again, they won't be swamped by larger plants.
These plants have finished flowered until next Spring.
